The Performative Lecture Series is to be free and open to the public, the Harold Family will provide a light brunch for hungry minds. Performers are selected to present performative, interactive, new media technology-driven lectures, and come from the fields of art, dance, performance theory, theater, music, electronic visualization, and electronic writing. Over the course of two hours, they are asked to present a lecture that involves some level of interactive media, theatrical elements, and informative content. They are asked to then conduct a discussion around their performance, the topics discussed in the lecture, and the nature of the technology they implement.
