Model Assemblages a Retrospective of work by American Sculptor Louise Nevelson: a New York artist whose work spans from the 1940's till her death in the 1980's. Her abstract expressionist "walls" “crates” or "assemblages" were made of recycled wood.
She was one of the first artist to transform space into installation Art.
Much of her work was done in black but she also made a white, gold and Lucite series.

"When you put together things that other people have thrown out, you’re really bringing them to life – a spiritual life that surpasses the life for which they were originally created."
Louise Nevelson

The Fashion show will take the Nevelson aesthetic transformed into hats, large neck pieces and clothes, all from recycled materials.
