Model Assemblages a Retrospective of work by American Sculptor Louise Nevelson: a New York artist whose work spans from the 1940's till her death in the 1980's. Her abstract expressionist "walls" “crates” or "assemblages" were made of recycled wood. "When you put together things that other people have thrown out, you’re really bringing them to life – a spiritual life that surpasses the life for which they were originally created." The Fashion show will take the Nevelson aesthetic transformed into hats, large neck pieces and clothes, all from recycled materials.
